JUNIORS

A total of 31 Under 18's Girls Junior UK volleyball teams qualified for the Grand Prix 2023-2024 series.

After my team - Urmston Team A - finished 3rd overall in the national Grand Prix series.

The girls were disappointed, however lessons have been learnt and I am cheering for the younger girls next season to become triumphant.

Now an integral part of the team NVL North 1st team for Urmston VC. Now in division 2 we are aiming for promotion into the 1st division next season. Our chances are good as we have only played 8 games this season.

(Note I also train with Everton Belugas 2 times a week).

WOMENS TEAM 1

Now an integral part of the Everton Belugas NVL 1st team. Joined the team at he beginning of the season fundamentally as an outside hitter but also a middle hitter. Although striving for promotion, the team has finished mid-table. We are aiming for promotion into the 1st division next season.

WOMENS TEAM 2

Now an integral part of the Everton Narwhals NVL 2nd team. Joined the team at the start of the season. This is my 2nd team which plays within the 2nd division of the NVL league where I pre-dominantly play as an outside hitter. We finish below mid-table, and although remaining in division 2, our aim is to strive for division 1 next year.

I also play and captain for the lower ranking NVL division 3 within the North West for Urmston. We will remain in this division next year due to the team being new to the NVL league this season.

A total of 26 Under 18's women's UK volleyball teams qualified for the Grand Prix 2022-2023 series.

After my team - Urmston Team A - finished 2nd overall in the national Grand Prix series in 2021-2022 we were looking to maintain form and capitalise on our strong success.

This competition recently finished and Urmston team A finished 3rd overall.

The girls were disappointed, however lessons have been learnt and we will strive for the number one spot next season.

12 games played for U17 Junior Urmston Grammar VC team 1st team. 2023 season resulted in dropping to 3rd place in both the Inter-regional and Grand-Prix National competitions

8 games played for team NVL (National Volleyball League) North 1st team for Urmston VC. Now in division 2 we are aiming for promotion into the 1st division next season.

(Note I also train with Everton Belugas 1/2 times a week - now a NVL first division team).
